Warranty Policy

6-Month Limited Warranty

Typified keyboards, parts, and workshop builds come with a 6-month warranty from the date of purchase or workshop completion.


What the Warranty Covers

  • Manufacturing defects in cases, PCBs, plates, stabilizers, switches, or keycaps

  • Functional faults not caused by misuse (e.g., dead PCB, non-working stabilizer)

  • Workshop builds assembled under facilitator guidance are covered to the same standard


What the Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Normal wear (e.g., keycap shine, switch feel changes)

  • Damage caused by spills, drops, or accidents

  • Modifications beyond standard assembly (e.g., soldering, case milling)

  • Issues caused by third-party parts not supplied by Typified


Warranty Process

  1. Contact us at helloworld@typified.sg with proof of purchase and photos/videos of the issue.

  2. Our team will diagnose remotely within 3 business days.

  3. If covered, we will repair or replace the defective part.

    • Repairs may involve replacing components (PCB, stabilizer, plate).

    • Replacements are like-for-like, subject to stock availability.

  4. Customers may need to return the faulty part/board to us. Shipping instructions will be provided.


Additional Notes

  • Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

  • Replacement parts do not extend the original warranty period.

  • Typified reserves the right to determine whether a fault qualifies under warranty.

  • For products bought outside Singapore, shipping charges for returns/replacements may apply.
